Bruce D Hales PBCC cult leader has a monthly birthday gift

Not only does the self styled 'Man of God' have a birthday today but he has an additional dozen birthdays throughout each year!

  1. I’m curious about the money given during care meetings for BDH.

As the EB PBCC meetings are now charities does this go through the charity accounts? If so, is it recognised as a restricted fund?

How is the money transferred out of the UK and into Australia?

Does BDH then pay tax on these earnings in Australia?

    1. Are you calling HMRC brain dead?

There are four very fair questions above. Why can't the PBCC ( who Garth Christie says welcome scrutiny ) give answers when asked, instead of hurling insults?

  3. Whoever wrote what? Not everyone knows all about the EB. Or perhaps it was a way of bringing more of the story out.

  5. Regarding the additional dozen birthdays, is that a coded way of referring to the gifts that each city where there are Hales EBs give to Bruce, each month at the care meeting? For example, if the Brighton, London, Barnet, Bristol, Portsmouth, Guildford, and Leeds meetings decided to give £500 to the Man of God in March 015, that would be £3500. They would probably give this amount at least two or three times a year to cover his expenses in serving the Lord.

  6. These are very good questions, despite the abusive response from certain quarters. I would also like to know the answers if anyone from the PBCC would care to answer. There must be transparency where public money might be involved (as in tax concessions). I understand it has not been unknown for cash to be flown in the care of "couriers" who happen to be heading that way for meetings.

    1. So you're saying cash is taken from one country to another?

How does this cash serve the charitable purposes of the charity? Presumably they've gained Gift Aid it?

This is Preston Down's Charitable objects:

A)THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT INCLUDING BY THE CARRYING ON OF THE SERVICE OF GOD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS OF THE HOLY BIBLE AS FOLLOWED BY THOSE CHRISTIANS FORMING PART OF A WORLDWIDE FELLOWSHIP KNOWN AS THE PLYMOUTH BRETHREN CHRISTIAN CHURCH (THE BRETHREN) WHOSE CORE DOCTRINE IS SUMMARISED IN SCHEDULE 1 TO THIS DEED AND WHOSE PROPER PRACTICES IN FURTHERANCE OF SOME ASPECTS OF THAT CORE DOCTRINE ARE SUMMARISED IN SCHEDULE 2 TO THIS DEED; AND
(B)ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH BRETHREN.

Rather than making silly comments like that, what are your views on the Times expose released today, you can read the article here

As fire engine chasers of the first order, the PBCC should realise that there is rarely smoke without a fire.

I understand that the partners of some of these fire fighters are not amused by the suggestion that they starve them.

Some of us do have better things to do in life than to feed emergency workers. Get out there in the railway arches and shop doorways of Central London and feed those who really need feeding.

  8. Get out there in the railway arches you say?? Do some research first. We do that already before we so called chased fire engines.

  9. I can't think you would do anything without a publicity editorial and certainly nothing before you were in danger of losing charitable status. Now looking forward to reading about your long term work with the homeless and the poor etc. It requires a little more dedication than a lunch (publicity) break for the, not necessarily deprived, curious passers by!

      Jealous of what ?

A sectarian extremist group that cuts itself off from the rest of the Body of Christ which is the whole of the rest of the Christian Church

A sectarian group that separates from society and refuses to eat or drink with it

A sectarian group that even refuses to eat or drink with any other Christian from any other Christian Church

A sectarian group that refuses to worship, fellowship, or have communion with any other Christian from any other Christian Church

A sectarian group that divides families of any person leaves the group

A group that appears to think that lying, falsehoods, obfuscation, double speak and deceit are suitable traits in a Christian Church

A sectarian group that thinks it is acceptable to have alcoholic leaders who have been found in bed with another mans wife and calls such leaders “pure” and “our beloved”

A sectarian group that thinks “it alone” is the Church and that “it alone” has the Truth

A sectarian group that does not believe in the freedom of the Holy Spirit or of the freedom of individual conscience as biblically taught

A sectarian group that teaches to speak with “outsiders” is “defiling”

A sectarian group that follows the words of men and ignores what the Word of God says, which is the Bible

A sectarian group with members brainwashed and indoctrinated into following men rather than Christ – in the quoted words of a PBCC member on another blog “I am proud to be following Mr Hales” !

A sectarian group which operates like an authoritarian dictatorship state run by a despot, that does not allow proper access to education, careers, tv, radio, sport, theology, culture, etc

A sectarian group that does not allow its members to have proper normal access to non member relatives, nor to weddings, funerals, birthdays, not even to eat with them

A sectarian group that teaches if persons leave it then they cant be Christian !

      Jealous ??

Most certainly not. As a Christian, myself I thank God I am free of such sectarian unchristian nonsense and I pray that you would be too

  11. Jealousy of what...? Enslavement to a rotten system, looking over my back for informers, endless mindless meetings, endless heavy drinking, hangovers, lack of healthy recreation and sport, lack of cultural interests, lack of new friends and connections. The problem for the most aggressive PBCC members is that they cannot admit the mistake of a lifetime!
