  3. As the EB (PBCC) are so keen to publicise their events, these days; perhaps local reporters could be contacted, in the various localities, giving BDH, and other leading figures, opportunity to discuss arrangements for conforming to CC requirements (at least within the UK).

Of course, the general public may want to attend these meetings, since they are providing some of the funding. I do hope the PBCC Ltd publicity department will provide all the necessary information. For example, whether you have to take a bottle, or will all the drinks be on the house? Also, current dress code being stressed at this juncture; is it fascinators, head bands or gypsy style? also, length of skirts - below,on, or above? All this to apply to females, as well, of course.

  4. There was a large group of Australian Halesians PBCC members on a flight from Heathrow to Dusseldorf earlier today. Most of the girls had black bows in their hair, with a few exceptions - almost like it was a funeral they were going to. The Purser announced them as Brethren (so many of them!) and said they were going to a conference. Poor souls.

  6. Living in the past folks? Yup. Been doing it for 44 years. Gained anything? Nope.

Do the PBCC bother anyone else, attack other Christians, gossip or write stories about you or about the church you go to? Nope
Do other mainstream churches write such things about other people? Nope.

Goes to show it's mainly those who have left the PBCC who nurse such spite and will be doing it until the end of their lives.

    In summary then:
How very sad, petty, boring and above all, how untruthful these posts are.
If this is all the substance or rather lack of it on offer, then we really pity your mentality and aims in life.

At least Richard Stay did the decent thing and closed his website.

    Formally PBCC and
    Very Positive about Life.

    1. You ask, “Do the PBCC bother anyone else, attack other Christians, gossip or write stories about you or about the church you go to?”

Well, yes they do. If you would like to be reminded of the atrocious things said about other churches and printed in Brethren ministry, I could quote plenty of examples. I could equally quote plenty of examples from my own experience of malicious and untrue gossip about those who have left the Taylor/Symington/Hales fellowship.

I'm glad you are Very Positive about Life. Perhaps you should tell all victims of abuse (psychological as well as physical) from both EB but the wider world, both religious and non-religious, that they should just move on. Tell the UK government to forget their inquiry, as also the C of E and others.

    3. Dear "Formerly PBCC"

Many folk who, comment on here, are exceptionally positive about life since they have had to fight adversity.

The EB (PBCC) have been "bothering" others throughout their history.

The non Christian PBCC have been very contemptuous of Christians. Did not the former alcoholic, discredited leader Taylor Jnr. describe their nearest "relatives", the Christian Open Brethren, as the filthiest ditch in Christendom, or words to that effect?

Despite being positive about their own lives, some folk are concerned about such concepts as justice and righting the wrongs of the past. Seeking justice is a fundamental human need in the society in which we live. There are massive amounts of evidence of wrong doing by the PBCC scattered through out this blog, not to mention in other places, the CC, solicitors' files, and so on.

Such wrongs, in no particular order, include: breaking up of families, enforced separation, abduction of children, loss of home, job and finance, loss of inheritance, enforced alcoholism, inappropriate sexual conduct, ruining young people's aspirations, suppression of women, lack of Christian charity to others, lack of Christian humility, causing mental anguish, breakdown and suicide, tax avoidance, illegal movements of cash, illegal political meddling, spreading lies and misinformation, obsession with worldly wealth and the wrongful appropriation of public money since the PBCC are not a public benefit, but, rather, have been a catalyst for human misery, harm and detriment.

Those principally responsible are the wealth obsessed, power hungry, "infallible" leaders, Taylor Jnr onwards, their coterie of fawning sidekicks and local enforcers who, throughout the decades, have always sought to curry favour by zealously carry out orders from above.

      Yours

Very positive about life, and enjoying every sunny day.

    4. Do the PBCC bother anyone else, attack other Christians, gossip or write stories about you '

Well actually yes, they do. And they threaten me with lawyers letters, turn up at my back door uninvited, interfere in ex-member's funerals. Say awful things about other Christians in their meeting halls too, but hold a different kind of service when non-members are present. Have heard the recordings.

They have been forced by the Charity Commission to admit to causing harm and detriment. It would be polite in those circumstances to at least ,make an apology, wouldn't it? If they did, some of us could at least move on. I would love to give my father the decent, respectful burial he deserved.

Enjoying good health with homes here and abroad with many friends, but remarkably unable to speak to close family due to draconian PBCC restrictions. Something that the Charity Commission have pronounced on and which is NOT being addressed.

      Why?

    5. I'm ex EB and very positive about life. So positive in fact, since leaving that dishonest, lying, deceiving, evil cult that I'd like to help my family and friends escape to so that they also can become positive about life. That's why we're here - for a positive outcome, not to be bitter. We don't dare about an overweight trumped-up furniture salesman who blasphemously claims to have something to do with God. We just want to help decent people away from that evil conman and find something in life (well everything, post-Bruce) to be positive about.

Now you can put your head back behind the parapet!

  7. Abusers are often only brought to justice by the sheer persistence of their victims when it seemed that no one wanted to listen. Many voices in the recent past have spoken in support of Jimmy Savile and Rolf Harris. In much the same way we hear people speak in support of the PBCC. We are not going to keep quiet until harm, detriment and sometimes abuse of the worst possible kind is addressed and it will be.

    1. Dear Harry,

You really are being a silly little boy. Some of these alleged abuses happened as much as ten days ago. Why would you try to dwell on anything historic?

    1. Would you be good enough to word that differently, or at least assure us that you are not threatening physical harm? Your original wording could provide an excuse for BDH’s refusal to discuss with us our grave concerns and those of his own brethren.

    3. Hear hear Ian. And if the perpetrator is a current unhappy trapped member, as I suspect, maybe they would be good enough to post it on the PBCC website, not this one.
