Chase 2014 the charities and associations event

Rather ironic that after all the years of banning memberships etc. the recently rebranded PBCC should choose to exhibit here on 11th & 12th Feb 2013

  1. In having a stand at an exhibition, the RRT and the BGT are going against the ministry of BDH in Vol. 3 page 376, where he says there is something joint about paying for space at an exhibition, and it involves a link (presumably a link with "unclean persons" also known as non-Hales members). But I expect their lord has turned a corner for PR purposes. Let’s hope for another few hundred corners.

    1. I've seen sneaky ways before where a Brethren business exhibits with a non-Brethren employee renting the exhibition stand on their behalf, so they keep themselves separate. Hmmm.

  2. They don't care about associations when it comes to any threat to receiving free public money! I mean at one trade show recently - where they were displaying office furniture, they had a stonking big plasma TV as part of their display. That would have gotten you the arse a few years ago. The almighty dollar is now king under almighty Bruce!

  3. I wonder will the EB attend the Marketing Seminar "Re-branding-The perils the pitfalls and the potential!"
They could contribute from recent first hand experience!! They might also learn something from the Charity Commission's "New Public Benefit Guidance"

    1. The Hales Exclusive Brethren are probably the ones holding the seminar - they are now the experts in this area and it's one more area they can make a few bucks off of Joe public.
