Protecting vulnerable groups

  1. A check would not catch someone who has not been reported to the authorities and convicted in a court. We all know of cases which were swept under the carpet or "covered by the priests". Crimes need to be reported and dealt with in an an appropriate manner.

  2. If they were serious they could enlist the help of organisations like CCPAS http://www.ccpas.co.uk/ the churhes child protection advisory service who are experts in safeguarding.

    But then, are the Hales Exclusive Brethren/Plymouth Brethren (Exclusive Brethren) Christian Church indeed a church. Or is it only mammon that matters?
